IPSIIS FOAM W

IPSIIS FOAM W is a 98% mineral foam still in its plastic state, as produced on site. It is intended for direct application in a thin layer (<4 cm) on equipment requiring fire protection or thermal insulation. After drying, IPSIIS FOAM W becomes a rigid material with temperature and fire resistance properties.

Intended for use in thermal insulation or fire protection, IPSIIS FOAM W combines exceptional properties: lightness, non-combustibility, flame resistance, compression resistance. IPSIIS FOAM W is manufactured on site using an industrial mini-pilot.

Uses
Direct application on sensitive equipment in thin layers. The viscosity can be adapted to better meet the project needs (viscous foam for application on a vertical surface, or more liquid “self-placing” foam to fill technical ducts, cable passages, etc.).

Density: 150 – 350 kg/m3.
Thermal conductivity (25°C): 0,05 – 0,09 W/m.K.
Fire classification: A1.
Flame resistance (hot surface): 1600°C.
Compressive strength resistance: 0,3 – 1,5 MPa.

Processing
Use: The foam is applied in a thin layer using suitable tools. After application the foam can be floated, after drying the foam can be reworked (resizing, etc.).
Cutting: conventional tools for building materials.
Laying: compatible with screwing, tapping, gluing operations.
Gluing: on wood, steel, glass, concrete…
