IPSIIS: finalist of the Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge 2020!

IPSIIS team honored to be one of the 6 finalists of the Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge in the Smart City Track!
Come and meet us at the Global Summit Event on March 12th and 13th in Paris : https://hello-tomorrow.org/summit/

Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge is the worldwide global competition for Tech startup, created specifically to meet societal needs and satisfy the deeptech requirements of economic players.

A technical solution to face the specific needs of high temperature industrial world

Understanding of the mechanisms involved in ceramics and metal alloys production has been, for long, an indicator of the degree of development of civilizations and their technical mastery. Time has passed, uses multiplied and these two families of products always accompany us in everyday uses.

Since a few decades the most demanding applications even combine these two worlds in the production of metallic ceramics «cermet» for medical, industrial or military applications…

The need to develop inert, high temperature, high stress resistant materials is clear and will remains high in historical fields.

Affordable high temperature insulation

The high-temperature insulating materials are merely a regional driven market. Logistic costs and custom duties limit imports from other regions. With a restricted supply chain, manufacturers are facing issues to reduce their manufacturing costs and improve their solutions:

  • mitigation of fuel bills
  • optimization of duty cycles and temperature pattern
  • management of safety issues

The direct cost of insulating materials for high-temperature can represent a significant part of the overall manufacturing cost (especially for industrial kilns) and technical options are therefore critical choice.

Thanks to its patented process, IPSIIS delivers refractory ceramic panels, gathering outstanding physical, thermal and mechanical properties at a very competitive cost.

High temperature insulation opportunities

Most energy intensive industries are voicing concern about their capacity to remain competitive. Among those, temperature process industries face specific challenges:  provide optimal products or services, while improving energy efficiency safely.

Not an easy task to comply with legislation, keep costs under control and develop effective new solutions. Safe, light, effective high temperature insulation can help mitigate issues pertaining to energy and health and safety field.

Two main types of materials have been used for decades in industry:  brick or refractory fibres, a rigid heavy solution and a light fibrous one

Light high temperature insulation without using fibres is now possible!

A game changer in high temperature insulation

Insulation, energy efficiency, fuel bills & product stewardship:

Manufacturing industries dealing with energy intensive processes are currently evolving in a fairly complex environment with numerous challenges. Competitiveness/customers satisfaction has to be obtained while complying with stringent legislations and increasing fuel costs.

“ To save 20% in energy consumption by 2020 ”
